The Finding Spot

DJI Neo Review

I picked up the DJI Neo about eight months ago, and it’s been my go-to companion on regular bike rides. I like having it on hand—just in case something unexpected pops up. You never know when the light hits just right or a trail opens up into something worth capturing.

The DJI Neo is a surprisingly powerful little drone. It shoots crisp 4K video and comes packed with advanced flight features that make it feel like more than just a beginner drone. Whether you’re filming for fun or building content for gear reviews and travel guides, it’s versatile enough to handle both.

Its lightweight design makes it easy to carry and quick to set up, which is perfect for spontaneous outdoor shoots. You can control it straight from your smartphone using the DJI Fly app, with access to live video streaming and intelligent flight modes. Or, if you prefer a more tactile approach, you can use the onboard buttons to launch, switch modes, and start recording—no phone required.

DJI Mavic Pro 2 Review

The DJI Mavic Pro 2 is a powerhouse for aerial creators. With its 1-inch CMOS sensor, it captures stunning 20MP photos and 4K video—even at 60fps—making it a solid choice for both photographers and filmmakers.

I’ve flown it in strong winds and unpredictable conditions, and it held steady, delivering smooth, cinematic footage every time. Its foldable design makes it easy to pack and carry, whether you're heading out on a hike or traveling light.

You get up to 31 minutes of flight time per charge and a transmission range of up to 8 kilometers, which means more freedom to explore and document landscapes from above. Add in obstacle avoidance and intelligent flight modes, and you’ve got a drone that’s not just smart—it’s reliable.
