Talking about GoPro Max.

GoPro Max Review

The GoPro Max was one of my first 360 cameras, and it quickly became one of my favorite tools for capturing amazing footage. Whether I was hiking, driving, or mountain biking, the Max delivered smooth, stabilized video with impressive clarity. Its compact design and intuitive controls made it easy to use in any environment.

The camera features dual lenses that capture full 360° spherical video at up to 5.6K resolution (4992 x 2496 @ 30fps), powered by a 17MP CMOS sensor. You can reframe your shots later using the GoPro app or desktop software, making it perfect for dynamic storytelling.

  • Dual-lens 360° capture with 5.6K30 video
  • 17MP CMOS sensor with digital stabilization
  • Max HyperSmooth for ultra-smooth footage
  • Waterproof up to 16ft (5m) without a case
  • Built-in mounting fingers for quick setup
  • Touchscreen interface with live preview
  • Wi-Fi + Bluetooth for wireless control and transfers
  • RAW photo support and H.264/H.265 video formats
  • GPS and spatial audio with six microphones

One of the standout features is the ability to shoot in Hero Mode, which turns the Max into a traditional single-lens GoPro with wide-angle video and photo capabilities. It’s like having two cameras in one.

If you're curious to see how it performs in real-world conditions, you can check out some of my videos on YouTube. Be sure the setting of quality is set to 1080p or higher on YouTube.
